REFOOD* has the ambitious goal of accelerating the transition to a food system based on plant-based protein sources.
Our vision is a world where plant-based diets are fully normalized and recognized for their health, environmental, and ethical benefits.
We develop strategic projects to put plant-based protein sources back at the center of the food system, in line with the provisions of the Mediterranean diet, studied since the 1960s and included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2010.

We strive to remove obstacles and discrimination that actually reduce the practical possibilities of enforcing these choices in foodservice settings.
We want health, environment and ethics to be placed at the center of public policy on food so that the need to put plant-based protein sources back at the base of the food pyramid is recognized.
