REFOOD has the ambitious goal of accelerating the transition to a food system centred on plant protein sources.
Our vision is a world where plant-based diets are fully normalised and recognised for their benefits to health, the environment and ethics.
We develop strategic projects to put plant protein sources back at the heart of the food system, in line with the Mediterranean diet, studied since the 1960s and inscribed by UNESCO in 2010 on the Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

- Through solid scientific evidence, we sweep away misinformation and false myths about plant-based nutrition, inspiring more informed individual choices.
- We work to remove barriers and discrimination that effectively reduce opportunities to act on those choices.
- We want health, the environment and ethics to be placed at the heart of public food policy, putting plant protein sources back at the base of the food pyramid.
