Paola Sobbrio

Since 2005 I have taught legislation and bioethics in degree programmes, master's courses and doctoral schools. From 2010, for scientific research purposes, I have focused on biotechnologies in the food sector with a particular emphasis on GMOs and cultivated meat, covering both regulatory and bioethical aspects. I have authored scientific publications in national and international journals and monographs on the relationship between law and ethics in relation to animal welfare policies and regulations. I am a member of the Scientific Committee of Effective Altruism Italy. At REFOOD I serve as Project Manager.
